History
In 1867 a wood framed church was built on Ferrell Street, in Cary, NC. In 1918, Rev. Elmo Jones was called to be the first pastor. Many pastors also served in Mt Zion during the years. In 1956,Rev. Issac Lee, the fifth pastor built a "Concrete Block" church with inside bathrooms. It was in Oct. 1979 that Pastor J. Allen Lewis became the seventh pastor. He instituted unity and family devotion with dedication and commitment to God and religion worldwide. Under his leadership the church began developing to what we see today.
